Night Counselor, Karachi
Essential Job Functions:
- Counsel clients and their family members on postpartum family planning options particularly PPIUCD as an immediate post delivery Family Planning method.
- Collect data of counseling and insertions from the intervention site.
- Maintain and submit insertion record during her duty hours to the IPCO at the end of each month.
- Have close coordination with IPCO, IPCO Supervisor and Trainer to achieve
- Develop support with the health facility staff and SBAs.
- Facilitate skilled birth attendants (SBAs) in practical trainings being held at the site.
- Ensure timely reporting and assisting in solving technical issues at the site.
- Maintain all required documentation including client consent.
- Maintain and share contraceptive stock position with IPCOs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor (IPC Officer) or seniors.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum Qualification- Midwife/LHV/Student Midwife will be preferable
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to relate to clients, SBAs, support staff and peers
- Personal qualities including integrity and team work
