- Development of Bakhabar Noujawan course on Reproductive Health for young adults(15 - 29 years). It a platform to learn & gain knowledge about various life matters that a young adult has to encounter, whether married or not. Modules covering various aspects of life situations, which young adults encounter as a part of growing up and while transitioning from an adolescent to a mature responsible adult have been developed.
It is anticipated that this course certificate will be mandatory to register the marriage certificate with National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Moreover, students attending this course will get additional credit points from their respective educational institutions.
Welcome to National Committee for Maternal & Neonatal Health (NCMNH)
National Committee for Maternal Health was established in 1994, as the Technical Arm of the Ministry of Health by the then Prime Minister with the Secretary Health as its ex-officio Chairman.The objective was to improve maternal health and to reduce maternal mortality ratio (MMR) in the country. In 2005, neonatal health was included in NCMH’s mandate and it is now known as NCMNH.

An off-shoot of NCMNH, Association for Mothers and Newborns (AMAN), is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit voluntary welfare organization. It has been established to improve maternal and newborn health, and contribute to reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality in Pakistan. It embraces members from different walks of life and disciplines i.e. health professionals, lawyers, media persons, midwives, public health specialists and social scientists.
