PPIUCD Intervention implemented by NCMNH hosted an experience sharing meeting on Thursday, 12 July 2018 at Najamuddin Auditorium of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The aim of the meeting was to share the experiences and challenges faced by stakeholders and develop a way forward strategy. Mr. Ashfaq Shah, Additional Secretary Monitoring Evaluation & Planning PWD Sindh, chaired the meeting. Mrs. Imtiaz Kamal, Secretary General NCMNH, welcomed the participants.

Dr. Aleya Ali, Director Project PPIUCD Intervention, represented NCMNH and shared the achievements along with challenges of the intervention. Dr. Talib Lashari, Technical Advisor Cost Implementation Plan (CIP), appreciated NCMNH’s efforts regarding maternal and neonatal health. In addition, he also oriented the participants on CIP including multidimensional poverty index, CIP reforms, training and PPFP strategy.

Other presenters included Dr. Zaib Dahar from Peoples Primary Health Initiative (PPHI), Mr. Umair Aslam and Ms. Aazia Rafique from Sukh Initiative, Dr. Syed Khurram Azmat from Greenstar, Dr. Farhana Shahid from Jhpiego and Dr. Aisha Fatima from Save the Children.

Representatives from NCMNH intervention sites were also present on the occasion.
