On 8 March 2021. NCMNH and CIP secretariat jointly organized an experience-sharing meeting in Karachi Najmuddin Auditorium Hall at JPMC. The objective of this meeting was to share the key results and Lessons learned of Post Pregnancy Family Planning (PPFP) intervention at different Health Facilities in the Sindh region, which were initiated by NCMNH in 2012.
Chief Guest Dr. Talib Lashari – Technical Advisor & Focal Person, FP–2030 Government of Sindh, Dr. Zulfiqar Dharejo Additional Director RMNCH-1 also shared their view about these much-needed services.
The heads of departments were invited to share their experiences in implementing PPFP services, the challenges they faced, and how to improve these services. Mr. Riaz Ahmed Manager of the M&E CIP secretariat also presented PPFP sub-group recommendations. All leading Gynecology and Obstetrics Heads of Intervention health facilities accompanied with their teams, representatives of the Population welfare department, and representatives of the Department of Health also participated in this meeting.
